This boy is definitely Franklin Richards. And seeing the Avengers and Fantastic Four kites in his hand, it seems Franklin Richards will definitely take Dr. Doom's side in Doomsday. In short, Dr. Doom will be helped by Franklin to defeat the Avengers and Fantastic Four.
Marvel Studios has just revealed the first official posters for Avengers: Doomsday during a massive showcase at Expo Shanghai 2026.
The gorgeous new artwork was unveiled at a special, fully dedicated booth designed to give fans an immersive first look at the atmospheric tone of the upcoming blockbuster. The newly debuted posters highlight the critical locations and legendary superhero factions that are set to collide, featuring beautiful artistic representations of the Avengers Compound, Wakanda, the newly redesigned Avengers Tower, the Fantastic Four’s Baxter Building, the X-Mansion, and Doctor Doom’s spectacular Throne Room.
Beyond the visual prints, the live exhibition experience treats attendees to physical, life-sized replicas of both the X-Mansion and Doom’s personal throne. Bringing the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the forces of Wakanda entirely under one banner positions the movie to be one of the most ambitious multiversal events in cinematic history. The grand scale sets a phenomenal baseline for the cosmic war ahead when the film officially debuts in theaters on December 17.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY was the final full film I had the opportunity to lead as Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios.
It was truly an honor, and I was grateful to commemorate that journey with this marketing illustration which officially reveals, for the first time, the characters and their looks in the film.
This one was definitely a beast to paint, but I genuinely enjoyed every minute of it.
Over the years, I’ve created many illustrations like this - from Comic-Con posters and book covers to major reveals at public presentations. Each time, completing one has felt like closing a book.
These pieces represent more than the story or the characters in the film. For me, they also capture my own journey through the whole production—the challenges, the victories, the teamwork, the relationships, and all the fun we had bringing it to life.
I felt all of that while working on this illustration.
Part of the journey is the end… and what a journey it has been.
