This one is special. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney. It is a full circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children’s Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T'Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I'm so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick's life and purpose in this way.
I am grateful to the Disney family for being so supportive of my journey as an artist. @waltdisneyimagineering @disney @marvelstudios @disneyland

Three years ago today, I experienced a singular pain at the news of @chadwickboseman's death. The confusion was so profound that it took months to trust the feeling of joy again.
:
This is a photo I took on film at the airport as we arrived in South Korea in 2018. We had just learned to do the baby heart with our fingers. Here Chadwick was adding his suave flare. We spent a glorious 72 hours there, and the memory fills me with so much joy.
:
Death is hard to understand, maybe even harder to accept. But the love generated from the life he lived will fuel every anniversary marking his absence.
:
Chadwick may no longer be in our photos, but he will always be in our hearts.
"That was my last day of shooting, and we were at the falls in Warrior Falls. I had finished my assignment and Chadwick came and hugged me. And I just hugged him and just embraced him. And of course it was a glorious set filled with splendid beauty and people and music and pride."
"To see the work that he was doing and to have come to know, every day, the human being that he was - sometimes you don't have to say much, but you can just look into one another's eyes and convey all that you mean, all that you hope."
"You don't know what the future brings."
"To have come to know this young man who was a student when I got an honorary degree at Howard, he was my escort. It was a full circle moment to come and now the great opportunity I had to portray his mother."
“Grief never ends. But it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It’s the price of love.” -unknown
Remembering Chadwick Boseman. Forever.
Rest in Peace.
